Finding Purpose And Healing In The Midst Of Struggles

Struggles: they are an unavoidable part of life. Some feel temporary, while others can feel like an eternity. No matter what, we can take heart in the fact that the blood of Jesus washes over even the hardest of trials, and by grace alone, we come out victorious on the other side. I find it amazing how often times, God uses our pain and various struggles to administer healing in ways we didn’t even know we needed. The struggles we face in life can draw us closer to Him or pull us away. Yet, forgiveness always leads us back Home. Wherever you’re at, and whatever you’re currently walking through, know that God is right there with you!

Even if you don’t know what to pray, remember that there is mighty power behind silent prayers. Above all, just call upon the Name of Jesus, and watch your life be transformed! He died upon the Cross and rose again to redeem every burden and struggle. Though the world may seem like shifting sand, do not fear. Take God’s hand and allow Him to bring you on the journey of your lifetime! Will it be easy? No, it won’t, but behind every step taken, and every mile travelled, lies blessings that you won’t have enough room to contain!

Friends, struggles are not meant to be destructive, but instead, they are used as Faith building experiences to bring us back to the firm foundation that is only found in Christ! In the words of Mike Donehey, the former frontman of Tenth Avenue North, “HALLELUJAH, WE ARE FREE TO STRUGGLE, BUT WE’RE NOT STRUGGLING TO BE FREE; BECAUSE YOUR BLOOD BOUGHT, AND MAKES US CHILDREN; SO CHILDREN, DROP YOUR CHAINS AND SING!” Isn’t that such a captivating and freeing declaration? We are not bound up by the chains of this world but are citizens of Heaven who answer to a higher call. That call includes using our gifts, and yes, recalling our struggles to bring His Hope, light, and love to every tribe, tongue, and nation! IN EVERY STRUGGLE, HIS LOVE PREVAILS!!!

Philippians 1:30 (NLT) “We are in this struggle together. You have seen my struggle in the past, and you know that I am still in the midst of it.”
