My Vision For 2021

My Vision For 2021

In 2020, despite the circumstances we faced around the world, I saw God move in mighty ways, bringing my Faith up another level. I learned that He really does find great joy in giving us the desires of our heart, so that we can proclaim His goodness and love around the world. One of the biggest ways I saw God move was through shifting many mountains to allow me to obtain my Bachelor’s degree in English & Writing through Liberty University Online. It was late in the afternoon last January, when I was in my music studio praising God. During this time, I felt Him prompting me that I was about to embark on a journey that would require great amounts of trust in Him, every step of the way. I graduated in May of 2017 with my Associates degree in Worship Leadership from Victory Bible College in Tulsa, OK, and didn’t necessarily have any plans to pursue further education. I have always been very fulfilled as a Worship Leader, and still am. There is something about connecting with God and His people through worship that really moves and ignites your soul. After much prayer and thought, I finally said “yes” to God about going back to school. Little did I know that saying “yes” to that one prompting from the Holy Spirit would change my life forever.

Along with worship ministry, another avenue that I feel called to connect with people through is the medium of writing. I enjoy meeting people right where they are at, and sharing God’s Light, Hope, and Love through the messages He inscribes upon my heart. I have always loved communication, the study of language, and words, but never imagined they would become such a big part of my future. You never know how one kind or encouraging word could impact someone else’s life forever. Our words truly do matter, for they have the power to build people up, or tear them down. As a result, this year, God has been stirring my heart to be more intentional about focusing on building new relationships, strengthening existing ones, and pouring into people’s lives in person. I have been ministering through electronic means for quite a few years and feel that He is leading me to get to know others on a more personal level. It brings me great joy when I hear how God has moved and is moving in and through people’s lives. Down to the core of who I am, I believe that our stories are one of the greatest tools we have been given to reach others for His glory!

Mankind has been designed to fellowship with one another, and relationships have always been very important to me. Pastor Max Lucado perfectly sums up the power of Godly friendships, as He affirms, “When you are in the final days of your life, what will you want? Will you hug that college degree in the walnut frame? Will you ask to be carried to the garage so you can sit in your car? Will you find comfort in rereading your financial statement? Of course not. What will matter then will be people. If relationships will matter most then, shouldn’t they matter most now?” When you surround yourself with people “on the same mission as you” (Author Unknown), beautiful things transpire!

Like I mentioned before, I am at a point in my life where I feel driven to expand my relationships, and connect with other Christian writers, people who are in various aspects of the ministry, and people from Romania, or working in ministry there. God has given me a burning passion to impact Romania with His love, and I am excited for things to come. If you know anyone in these categories, please reach out to me. May 2021 be a year where we see God move like never before! Some great things have come and gone, but He has even greater things in store! Believe it and receive it!
